When I created this website about three years ago, it was intended, first, to be an author page. I had a very small number of publications at the time and few “fans” interested in following my writing career, but I was ready to start building my brand as a professional writer, and creating a website is an important early step.
At the same time, I always wanted this website to be about more than just me and my writing. I am a writer, but I am also a teacher, and I feel a sense of duty to share what I have learned (and continue to learn) about writing with anyone who wishes to benefit from my experience.
If you have visited my website before, you may have noticed that I have moved some things around. You can still find my bio and list of publications nestled within this About section. You can also still expect to find updates about upcoming events and other news on the blog, now the homepage, but you’ll also start seeing more content developing my newly launched Resources for Writers page.
I’ve been curating resources for this new page for two years now, and I always intended to launch it once I had a fairly complete digital library of websites, books, podcasts, and other neat things to share with you. But in the interest of speeding things along a bit, I’ve revised my plan and decided to launch the page now as a work-in-progress. If you’d like to receive updates as new resources are added, click the Follow button at the bottom of the site to subscribe to my blog.
Also, if you are a writer and don’t see the type of resource you are looking for, please contact me using the form below, and I’ll add it to my list of forthcoming content (or bump it up the list if it’s already on there).
Thanks for visiting!
